Dark Mage of Rhudaur is a module for Middle Earth Roleplaying, published by Iron Crown Enterprises under license. In Episode One, “Before the Snow Falls, part 1,” four dwarves on a pilgrimage to Khazad-dûm find themselves short on coin in Rhudaur. To finance the last leg of their journey, they accept a job as caravan guards transporting supplies to the Tirthon, a fortress on the East Road.
Featuring James as Bofin, Jacob as Glock, Jacob (not the same one) as Mhenuk, John as Mhutvak, and Bryan as the gamemaster.

Errata: Bryan looked up that story about hunting wolves and discovered that there’s no evidence for it. It may have been based on a different hunting method involving whale baleen coiled up and frozen in fat: Baleen Wolfkiller: Fact or Fiction?

Thanks! We used the 2nd Edition MERP rules, with a little Rolemaster to extend the spell lists for the high-level enemy mage. I did my best to play with the rules as written, but I know I flubbed it in a few places just because it’s such a complex game. Hope you enjoy it!
